Endermologie is the only FDA (Food and Drinks Association) approved treatment to remove cellulite. Cellulite, essentially a female problem, results from a build up of fat in the subcutaneous fat cells and the retention of water in the surrounding skin. As the fat cells grow, the envelopes containing them lose their shape and pull on their anchoring points, giving the skin that dreaded “orange peel” appearance.
